Mass games with NTU RMS students

Mass games became more fun and vibrant with the participation group of volunteers from Risk Management Club, NTU. Wheelchair training was conducted as these young volunteers will also be joining us for this upcoming ESN Carnival on the 11th of October at Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
Handling ramps is a crucial part of the wheelchair training.
Both the residents and these new volunteers had fun during mass games. They sure sweat their heart out too. What a smashing saturday afternoon spent exercising and volunteering! The volunteers were occupied the whole time with picking up balls, sand bags, arranging cans and of course, talking to the residents.

The students then moved on to sing in the wards. Many said this was their first time having such an experience. With so many more voices, we indeed sound much better that day!

Moon Cake Festival Celebration

We had a blast this September monthly celebration! First the elderly was served with "top of the world"curry puff, following by mango birthday cake and of course, in time with the season, mouth-watering mooncakes. The celebration was even more joyous thanks to the help from Pasir Ris Secondary School students.

After makan session was an upbeat belly dance performance and mind-bogging mid-autumn festival puzzle. The residents surely enjoyed the game and performance and showed a lot of enthusiastic support.

Curry Ketupat and August birthday celebration

August birthday celebration was delectable! We served the residents mouth-watering curry vegetable, tofu and ketupat.

The volunteers have now become professional food distributors with speed, accuracy and aesthetics.
All the bowls look so presentable!

On top of delicious delicacies, the residents were served with lots of love and care.
What's a birthday celebration without birthday cake? We had a flavourful strawberry cake to celebrate the residents' birthday and our lovely Carolyn's bday too. They had so much fun!

Last but not least, Tommy, Henry and our volunteers visited the residents ward by ward to delight them with their favorite songs from the old days.

July Birthday Celebration

Dear readers!
We had a memorable July birthday celebration for the uncles and aunties as well as our pretty volunteers.

Henry, our enthusiastic musician and the residents sang joyous songs to celebrate the occasion

After delicious birthday cakes and carrot cakes comes Bingo!, one of our residents' favourite games. Many tidbits and Chicken Essence- Grand Prizes were won by them. The dining hall was filled with laughter and anticipation.

Come join this happy bunch every saturday to bring love and happiness to our All Saints Home residents!
