ESN Carnival 11 Sept 2010

Elderly Sector Network's Carnival was again held at Yishun Junior College. This year theme is Rekindle the Youth in You. We even have YOG mascot Lyo and Merly at the event.

This year, there is 'Most Sporty Elderly" competition, Mdm Lee Yew Neo and Mdm Quek Giak Hoon have participated as Basketball player and Bowling player.

Sept Birthday Celebration and first ever Auction party on 4 Sept 2010

We celebrated 11 Residents and 1 Volunteer Birthday on 4 September with egg tart and must have Birthday cake.

We also did our first ever auction with our residents. Items that are auction away include chicken essence, pork floss, biscuit, braised peanut, minced pork, coffee.......... so many stuff.

Residents are so excited and keep raising their hands even before the auction starts

The highest amount sold is 20 tokens and lowest is 5 tokens.

A happy smile from our residents just warm our hearts and let us forget about all e hard work we put in for this preparation as well as our auctioneers lost of voice at e end of the event.
