Mid Autumn Festival - 10 Sep 2011

Mid Autumn Festival is a period for family and friends to gather & share their happiness over moon cake. We were fortunate that Faith Community Baptist Church took time and effort to spend a whole afternoon with the residents, bringing them joy and laughter. Besides, moon cakes, light snacks & beverages were sponsored by the group too =)

Since this is the beginning of the month, we celebrated the birthday for residents and volunteers born in the month of September at one go.

Food & beverage station - the busy engine room for the day. Do not underestimate the effort here because there was a large group of 40-50 residents to be served concurrently.

After the bellies were filled, Faith Community Baptist Church and Volunteer Guitar Connection performed English and Chinese oldies respectively to the audience.
