Kopi Roti Session - 5 Nov

The food and beverages for this weekend's Makan Session was prepared entirely by the volunteers (well, minus the birthday cake - can anyone bake one the in the future?).... It was certainly not an easy feat considering 60-70 serves of Roti, spread with kaya and topped with pork floss, have to be churned out in quick successions to reach the plates of participating residents.

In fact, we have ran out of our monthly Makan ideas, so if you happen to have any suggestions - whether from Hawker Centres or prepare on the spot, just drop us a line =)

Thanks to all the volunteers who made this maiden attempt successful. Special mention to Kee Teck, Lay Ping, and Petra who have gone to the extra mile to purchase the ingredients.

A group of volunteers from Faith Community Baptist Church has joined us to an afternoon of games with the residents. New games were introduced and residents had lots of fun and prizes to be won, some even have their photo taken polaroid camera.
